Engineering Manager

Job ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of engineers in the development and testing of household appliances.Lead and manage a team of Engineers and/or Technicians in related activities to equipment and building set up and maintenance.Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.Develop and implement engineering standards, protocols, and procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer, product management, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment of project goals.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members.Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional growth of team members.Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks in a timely manner.Stay updated with the latest advancements in household appliance technologies and engineering practices.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field); Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Strong understanding of product design and manufacturing processes.Proven experience in project management and team leadership.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experienced in product line transfer preferred.Experience in Equipment maintenance program and building/facilities maintenance responsibilities preferred.Lean Manufacturing and/or continuous improvement program knowledge.#J-18808-Ljbffr
