Principal Accountabilities Engineering and Facilities: - To be accountable for ensuring all engineering works are conducted safely, including being accountable for risk assessments, safe systems of work and contractor management pertaining to engineering activities within the plant.
- Establish manufacturing systems, procedures, and processes to ensure the plant has the capability to meet customer requirements.
- Develop, manage, implement, and validate changes to current plant, processes and products / manufacturing system.
- Provide maintenance services to production.
Accountable for PM program and schedule.
- Maintain and improve reliability of equipment and facilities (key to productivity and capacity improvement) Customer/Product Support - Manage the RFQ process, including managing the customer quote system, leading the quote review board.
- Provide technical and business assessment of customer requirements (including RFQ's) to determine feasibility supply, including developing samples, prototypes, and commercial production capability.
NPI - Manage the execution of a portfolio of NPI projects, with defined prioritization and communication to internal and external stakeholders.
- Planning, controlling, and executing customer NPI projects from initial idea to commercial production, including all activities to coordinate qualification of the required processes to manufacture and inspect parts.
Experiência y requisitos
Engineering degree - preferably at Master's level Proven 3 years experience in Engineering leadership position Ability to demonstrate understanding and experience of all aspect of People Management, including Disciplinary & Grievance; performance management; coaching & mentoring; Resource Planning.
Strong focus on continuous improvement and experience in TPM and Lean Manufacturing.
Excellent communication skills required to lead and motive broad skill range of employees.
Knowledge and understanding of equipment and process safety regulations.
80% written and spoken English.
