**General description**:
Plans, designs and drives continuous improvement of the manufacturing process in the industrial plant. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Determines parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. Performs a major role in troubleshooting process issues, root causing product defects, and implementing corrective actions. Coordinate and implement changes suggested by Launch or Product Engrs. They focus more on technology (PLCs, Robots, Welding, etc) and are responsible in general of secondary equipment (welding, clipping, wrapping,etc).
**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for Launching of new projects and engineering changes on time. Coordinate the launch of new projects through the APQP. Definition of standards and specifications for products. Keep the client informed of the progress of the program, mainly in the areas of Engineering.
Generate a list of materials (BOM) for each finished and semi-finished product, ensuring that they include the correct consumptions. Register and update in the IMDS the data referring to the materials used in each product we manufacture to declare the non-use of restricted substances, Responsible for requesting customer approvals of deviations when the product does not meet the design specifications, or sending test material.
Control of deviations, assurance of internal and client specifications. Document information that supports change specs. Folder of history of foliar deviations and with signed leaf. Updating of the list of products, sheet spec, packing regulations, for engineering changes or changes in the process. Notification to the other areas distributing the controlled copies of the lists on time.
Achieve with the budget assigned and control all expenses generated by engineering releases and changes. Ensure that the expenses in each release are considered in CAPEX. We have updated the APQP folders of all the products. Control and list of tooling (productive, spare parts
Validation and / or modification of environmental objectives and support for compliance. Identify Environmental operation Aspects. Analysis of new projects and their impact to the environment. Establish objectives and goals for the Environmental Management System and its maintenance.

- Injection Molding Processes
- Automotive assembly processes, lamination.
- Cutting and Sewing Processes
**Requirements**:
- +10 years of experience in Engineering management.
- Conversational/Technical English.
- Mechanical, electrical, mechatronic engineering (Master's degree desirable).
- Automotive interior manufacturing
