The purpose of this job is to manage the end-to-end delivery of the site's capital plans, managing engineers at the site as well as the delivery of projects of significant size or a portfolio of smaller projects. Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management of projects including scope, cost and timeline definitions and management, communications and stakeholders' management, procurement plans, quality, resources, construction safety and risk management, and overall project integration. Leads the EEM (Early Equipment Management) pillar with full integration with the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) plans on site.You also work closely with the site team to improve operational performance of production lines, process kits and utilities systems, in order to improve cost and delivery at the site and therefore the business as well to avoid capital investments. You will work cross-category, engaging and collaborating with the other Engineering Managers to improve capabilities within the engineering team.You're a change maker: You flawlessly execute projects, leading all engineering aspects of the working program working with site, Procurement, Suppliers, Planning, R&D, Safety, Quality, Legal and the engineering community in an integrated, high performance work team. You drive capital efficiency by constantly looking at ways to improve costs to implement projects and looking at alternative technical solutions, besides working together with the site to sweat the assets, finding ways to extend the operating life of equipment, improving efficiencies, lowering environmental footprint and lowering operating costs.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDB.S
