**Goal of this Position**- Work within the parameters of the QM System to help the company achieve general and company-specific production, operational and quality objectives to meet growth goals.- Oversees industrial engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI) and technical engineering, generally optimizing and customers complex processes and systems to minimize waste.- Manages communication and coordination among different types of engineers, and coordinates with NA engineering leadership and oversees project schedules, budgets, and resources**.
**- **Tasks and Responsibilities**- Industrial Engineering Management - Oversees all aspects of Industrial, mechanical, processes and tooling teams to assure production readiness, capacity, tooling and plant equipment- Development and implementation of processes and procedures for data control, work instructions and product manufacturing.- Monitor to ensure successful execution and adherence of implemented or changed department processes and procedures.- Oversee manufacturing process design and tooling ensuring quality, cost and efficiency to Customer demand and requirements.- Analysis of new equipment and necessary technology development for manufacturing of products.- Planning and preparation of investment proposal for equipment and technologies in regards to capital expenditure budget.- Management of Equipment Qualification and Process Validation of new and existing equipment.- Management of and support special projects for manufacturing/process engineering- Test Engineering - Oversees the production test teams, processes and equipment- Leadership training of Test Technicians and Test Operators including review of new processes- Direct work load and priorities of test technicians,- Oversee the development of test procedures with Test Engineering and/or customers- Ensure test procedures are correct and being followed by Test Technicians and Test Operators- Develop critical path test training for new test systems for production test technicians- Technical Department - Oversees the team and process for SAP/Aegis/Flex VS Operating systems- Manages Engineering Change Orders and ensure that they are implemented properly- Manages SAP Material Master and Customer BOM's- Manages Flex/Aegis work flows team- **Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities**- Bachelors of Science degree in related field (Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical).- 10 + years experience in PCA, electronics assembly, preferable in contract manufacturing operations.- Advanced level of English- Thorough knowledge of all aspects regarding the production of electronic, precision mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies.- Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing concepts- Knowledge of organization's culture and structure, leading in high energy and dynamic pace environment.
