Job DescriptionYou will use your Engineering and Project Management background to lead cross functional team(s) of Electronic, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineers as well as Purchasing, Material Planning and other functional areas to develop products for the Automotive industry. In this capacity, you will be responsible for driving technical design and development of embedded systems and products. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining and deriving requirements, managing stakeholders, creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets, tracking interim milestones and deliverables, and communicating status updates to management and customers. In this capacity, you will facilitate problem resolutions and contribute to the overall design direction. Your primary responsibility is to ensure all project objectives are met including performance, schedule, cost, reliability, and quality.BS in Electrical, Computer, Systems, or Software Engineering with 6 years of experience in project management is required.- 8 years of experience in designing and developing new products from concept through launch is required.- Ability to lead technical discussions with engineers and effectively communicate information to technical and non-technical stakeholders in English is required. - Strong communication and organizational skills.- Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem solving skills.- Fluent in written and verbal English.- Experience with Project Management software and tools is required (Microsoft Project, Jira, Slack, etc.).- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Software (Windchill) is a plus. - Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning is a plus.- Familiarity with DFM, DFT, DFMEA, methods a plus.- Automotive experience a plus.- PMI/PMP certification a plus.- Travel (10-20%) may be required.
