From semiconductors to sensors, switches to fuses, we produce billions of electronic components that help our customers empower a sustainable, connected, and safer world.In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the Sr. Director, Manufacturing, you as an Engineering Services Manager will be responsible for maintaining optimal manufacturing processes and guaranteeing the quality of our products.About the job:Provide engineering services, implementing standardization (Maintenance Plans, technical training, problem analysis and solution, technology improvement) and developing improvement strategies.Develop manufacturing systems that meet the quality and capacity required by the client, maintaining and establishing operation and work methods.Apply skills and knowledge to maintain, develop, correct, and implement any manufacturing process, including the transfer of production lines to different locations while preserving product quality at established costs.Propose and justify improvements to existing processes to reduce costs and increase productivity.Maintain constant communication with external suppliers regarding delivery times.Validation of new equipment and technologies.Submit and implement ECO's and PCN's.Develop staff (Training, administration).Represent the Engineering department in the MRB Boards.Carry out any other activity assigned by your immediate supervisor.Develop and evaluate new technologies aimed at process development, implementation, and supervision.Develop continuous improvement strategies to support company objectives.Provide solutions to reduce cycle times while ensuring product quality.Implement and control capital and budgets.Establish recommendations for changes and updates to new products.Analyze product defects for resolution.Analyze Efficiency, Productivity, OEE, Downtime.Develop, evaluate, and search for products while carrying out cost reduction projects.Establish operating methods and work standards.Monitor compliance with established budgets.Participate in activities to maintain manufacturing costs within limits established by the company.Prepare documents that facilitate the product manufacturing procedure (process charts, visual aids, work instructions, operation manuals).Analyze, solve problems, and defects in the process.Investigate the root cause of customer complaints and submit corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrence
