.The primary job function of the Fastener engineer will support production press assembly processes by providing knowledge on industry best practices, and a keen eye for a continuous improvement. This position will also be responsible for the star-up and debug of electric automate presses machines. Will be responsible to coordinate the management of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, standardization of SMP, SOP, Machine Ledger and AM calendars documents of your technology. Inventory management ensuring that spare parts are available maintain and audit correct compliance with maintenance activities welding matrix management to ensure processes and any changes are correctly updated to eliminate variation between amp sheets and the process.**Roles & responsibilities**:- Provide press assembly engineering support to production.- Develop and implement advanced press assembly methods.- Program adjustments required to meet product assembly requirements.- Press program changes as required to maintain manufacturing goals.- Implement press certification (quality) strategy during launch and product or process change events.- Work with cross functional team to develop quality documentation such as SCCAF, Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and Control Plans (DCP).- Collaborate with plant personnel and skilled trades to plan equipment installations and development prove out plans the ensure equipment is ready for production.- Analyze balancers machine results to adjust presses parameters.- Analyzes product failure data in transfer molding machines in order to determine causes of problems and develop solutions.- Use press software information and force waveforms system monitoring data for the evaluation of process quality control.- Train and help production and maintenance technicians.- PLC programming and troubleshooting.- Interact with other engineering support and maintenance to react to unscheduled equipment issues and perform necessary diagnostics and repairs.- Provide preventive & corrective maintenance on automated process.**Education & experience requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanic, Electromechanics, Mechatronics or equivalent.- Proficiency communicating in technical English language.
