Directs the production of all the molded components in the three shifts. Will focus on the planned meeting molding requirements for the company with the parts that meet or exceed the specifications. Provide support and training for the molding department. He will direct the shift supervisor to create an environment where the three work shifts can grow to their full potential. Work in coordination with other departments to achieve the objectives as effectively as possible.
**Responsibilities:
1. Directs the production operations of the molding department that includes supervisors of shift, scrap and coordinates the material. It ensures that the department meets the production and quality requirements.
2. Works closely with the molding staff and other departments to effectively improve the efficiency of the casting department, such as establishing reduction, quality control, machine utilization, and customer service.
3. Manage the shift supervisors to develop their leadership skills and ensure that the department is working as a team.
4. Creates an environment where employees feel that their input is appreciated and that employees feel they are an integral part of the "success of the company.
5. Consistently evaluates and defines the needs of the department. Coordinates and effectively complies with the department's training. Through the facilitation of equipment and leadership, it demonstrates the continuous improvement in the establishment and reviews departmental procedures and processes.
6. Ensures that the molding machines are safe and in good working order. Reinforce the use of personal safety equipment. It provides a clean and safe work environment.
7. Use the initiative to develop and manage multiple projects personally and through the supervisors on duty with the examination of the accuracy, efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
