Engineering Technician

The Engineering Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment in assigned areas, minimizing production times, in support of the personnel in charge.What you will do:Track and improve product yields.Assist in implementing fixtures and Poka Yokes.Help implement corrective actions.Generate preventive maintenance programs.Support in training employees on current and new machinery.Support with quotation requests.Follow applicable QMS Procedures and Instructions.Follow AMETEK's Safety, Environmental, Hygiene, and Security Procedures.What we are looking for:1 year of experience in a similar position; Mechanical/electromechanical technician preferredKnowledge of electric motor assembly manufacturing processesExperience handling manufacturing machines (pneumatic presses)Experience and knowledge in handling measuring equipment (Vernier, Micrometers)Basic English preferredBasic computer knowledge preferredKnowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Standard preferredAMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.AMETEK is committed to making a safer, sustainable, and more productive world a reality.
