Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Engineering Technologistlocated in Guadalajara North.What a typical day looks like:- Assists engineers in the design and development of engineering layouts, drawings, and documentation of various levels of components, assemblies, and subassemblies using CAD system (i.E., AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Orcad).- Collaborates in developing state-of-the-art designs of new or modified components, assemblies, and subassemblies.- Assists engineers in establishing design standards and configurations.- Works from preliminary schematics, part lists, and basic description of component function, configuration, and arrangement as defined by engineering.- Prepares Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and bills of materials, which correspond to engineering drawings.- Applies knowledge of design and engineering to recommend improvements to product and process.
Maintains and applies working knowledge of all company standards which affect product design and manufacturing processes, including design, drafting and quality inspection.- Performs engineering related tests, checkouts, and development engineering tasks.- Diagnoses and isolates malfunction to the component level.- Analyzes test results, proposes and implements changes to resolve problems.- Conducts operations tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications, collecting data, analyzing results and implementing procedures.What you'll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.PA91Job CategoryProduction Engineering
