**Job Summary**
We seek motivated and detail-oriented entry-level engineers to join our team in various roles, including **Interconnections Engineer**, **Permits Coordinator**, **PV Designer**, and **CAD Designer**. These positions are ideal for individuals passionate about renewable energy and looking to build their careers in solar energy. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing, designing, and implementing solar energy systems.
**Responsibilities**:
Depending on your role, your key responsibilities may include:
**Interconnections Engineer**
- Assist in evaluating and designing grid interconnection solutions for solar projects.
- Analyze utility interconnection requirements and ensure compliance with technical standards.
**Permits Coordinator**
- Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for solar installations.
- Ensure projects meet zoning, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of permits and approval processes.
**PV Designer**
- Design photovoltaic (PV) systems, including layout optimization and electrical configurations.
- Conduct system performance simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., PVsyst).
- Assist in the preparation of bill-of-materials (BOM) for projects.
**CAD Designer**
- Create detailed CAD drawings for solar system designs, including site layouts and electrical schematics.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to revise designs as needed.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all technical drawings.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering preferred).
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, renewable energy, or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant tools/software:
**Interconnections Engineer**: Power flow modeling software, Excel, and technical documentation.
**Permits Coordinator**: Project management tools and documentation software.
**PV Designer**: PVsyst, Helioscope, Aurora or similar.
**CAD Designer**: AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other CAD software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
