.Incumbents are fully qualified to execute job/role accountabilities working independently on most aspects of the job. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Tasks are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required to complete recurring assignments independently and to determine the best methods to follow to complete assignments. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the division's/department's operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Works under general Supervision. Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. May demonstrate work methods to new employees. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:Facilities: Manages multiple office and production projects varying in complexity and dealing with internal customers to identify statement of requirements, budget, schedule. Delivering all aspects of the projects as negotiated and agreed to. Handling facilities requests based on geography, scope and/or discipline. Provides leadership and management of construction and renovation projects., Ensures good communications and acts as liaison between internal customers and service providers. Deals with projects that have a relatively high complexity level, scope and risk level. Uses good project management skills to maintain control of projects, contractors and employees. Prepares proposals for facilities related work and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in space and services optimization. Responsible for the overall maintenance of plant equipment on a daily basis. Maintains all systems including monitoring and keeping appropriate logs and measurements as required by site or local/governmental regulations. Ensures compliance to ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standards.Industrial Hygienist: Plans and implements a site risk assessment and evaluation program and process. Recommends measures for control of hazardous conditions such as radiation, noise, and toxic materials. Conducts training and communication programs in areas such as hazard communication, personal protective equipment use, hazardous materials response, chemical safety, radiation safety, laser safety, and noise exposure. Investigates the adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting and other conditions which may affect employee health, comfort, or efficiency. Selects vendors to, or performs sampling of, dusts, gases, vapors or other potentially toxic materials. Prepares reports, including observations, analysis of contaminants, and recommendations for control and correction of hazards. Tracks and interprets regulations to ensure compliance
