Evaluate and recommend preventive systems for risk reduction applicable in accordance with current STPS and OSHA regulations.Comply with and monitor compliance with legal obligations regarding safety and the environment.Propose preventive measures to reduce the occupational risk factor.Essential Functions Develop and maintain all EH&S programs and policies.Coordinate with all areas of operations to take a proactive approach in the development and implementations of various EH&S programs.Coordinate and perform routine safety inspections and work with employees and supervisors to identify, prevent and correct hazardousconditions.Maintain maintenance and inspection records.Act as leader of the emergency response brigades.Maintain emergency evacuation procedures and conduct annual drills.Ensures materials safety data sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals are on file, current and accessible to employees.Approve new incoming chemicals and maintain database of approved chemicals.Ensure proper storage, labeling and containment of chemicals Required Education and Importante empresa Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field 5 years Importante empresa Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.OSHA, STPS, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT
