Environmental Advisor - Senior (Regulatory)

Senior Environmental Advisor required to support with Wood operations and on client secondments. Provision of supporting with production, drilling and decommissioning campaigns expected. The Senior Environmental Advisor should drive continuous improvement, promote the highest standards of environmental stewardship, and assist Wood to uphold our exemplary environmental reputation in the eyes of key stakeholders. They shall also support the implementation of Wood's environmental strategy and HSSE Policy obligations.Key Responsibilities:Provision of environmental support to the Wood and client operations.Permit management - application compilation, submission, and associated reporting.Regulatory and offshore stakeholder engagements.Support the awareness and implementation of environmental and sustainability strategies.Providing support to client HSE management in incident and accident investigations through the use of an appropriate Investigation process.Maintaining Environmental Management System (EMS) compliance requirements, inclusive of undertaking audits where required.Participating in industry working groups representing the client and Wood.Desirable:Professional membership of environmental body.Trained and competent External Auditor.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Previous experience in a technical environmental advisory role with experience in project/contracts in Oil & Gas or other industry.Excellent working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulations.Knowledge in the Energy Transition is desirable.Established competence in permit management - application compilation, submission, and associated reporting.Excellent technical writing skills.Collating and interpreting environmental performance data.Good planning and organisational skills.On-site practical knowledge and experience (on and offshore and in asset lifecycle).High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format.Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
