.**Position**:Environmental, Health and Safety ManagerArrow Electronics is looking to hire an EHS Manager to join our team in Guadalajara!**This position requires fluency in English, please provide your CV/resume in English****What You'll Be Doing**Environmental Responsibilities- Manage environmental processes within the Company and with outside consultants; oversee the developmentof necessary documents for compliance with national, regional, and local regulatory requirements and different policies and guidance.- Conduct environmental and permitting due diligence for development and acquisition opportunities.- Lead national and regional communication and coordination about environmental licensing in Mexico in coordination with Development, Construction and Operations departments.- Review technical reports. Reports typically include, but are not limited to: habitat evaluations, electronic government systems for getting updates on environmental projects, threatened/endangered/sensitive species surveys, avian and bat surveys, post-construction monitoring studies, conservation plans, environmental impact statements.- Extensive knowledge of environmental compliance with the federal/municipal authorities: COA report, the RENE National Emissions Register for greenhouse gases, and with the Emissions Trading System (Sistema de Comercio de Emisiones) in coordination with Operations and Government Affairs Departments.- Participate in regional and national initiatives, symposia, conferences, and industry groups as needed to achieve Company objectives.Safety Responsibilities- Support and lead safety and emergency preparedness / response programs.- Develop, implement, periodically review/revise, and communicate safety and health policies and procedures.- Utilize GenSuite/Benchmark, the EHS software management tool, to manage safety data and reporting. Provide user training as needed. Develop regional and site-specific Intelex reports for review/discussion to drive action where necessary.- Research and provide recommendations for compliance with new/existing country regulations pertaining to EHS related topics.- Conduct periodic audits to maintain EHS excellence, regulatory compliance, and overall risk reduction.- Train management and operational staff on EHS policies and procedures. Conduct EHS training on prescribed topics at assigned sites.- Conduct inspections of the workplace.- Collaborate with multiple business departments (for example, Operations, Development and Construction) to institute work practices and programs to ensure the safety and well-being of employees.- Support the roll-out of Corporate safety and health initiatives.- Complete EHS reports as requested, summarizing performance and activities for the region.- Maintain working knowledge of existing regulatory and best safety management practices.- Collaborate with colleagues in Invenergy's EHS department and support department goals
