This team works with internal & external stakeholders toguarantee Stellantis' supply of raw materials at the best economic conditions under Social & Environmental responsibility (ESG), driving the transition to a Zero Carbon footprint.
The Sustainability team is responsible to:
- Define and lead the Raw Materials life cycle analysis strategy - in particular CNZ (Carbon Net Zero) in 2038,
- Define and lead the Global ESG strategy for all Raw Materials
Directly attached to the Global ESG leader, in close connection with the Business Development and Purchasing teams, the ESG leader will:
- Define Stellantis ESG strategies with internal relevant stakeholders (Business Development team, technical team, buyers, etc.)
- Manage internal and external reporting requirements to ensure it accurately reflects the business' working practices, is in line with regulatory, and meets stakeholders expectations
- Implement a set of KPI (Key Performance Indicator) metrics to measure, monitor and report progress
- Communicate and present performance data across the organization and to Stellantis stakeholders, by commodity and region
- Actively promote and communicate ESG practices
- Engage the IT & Data management teams to define required processes to measure / drive ESG quotations
- Ensure the standards and policies outlined for suppliers, and the processes to ensure compliance, meet regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations, specifically, potential M&A's (Mergers & Acquisitions)
- Represent the Company in working groups, communicating the ESG discipline, during international congresses / seminars
- Source ESG auditors to perform quotations and guarantee the quality of their deliverables by executing periodical on-site audits (both Supplier and/or potential future partner's sites)
Technical Skills required but not limited to:
- Knowledge of disclosure of mineral assets
- Ability to analyze and challenge reports by subcontractors or Raw Materials suppliers
- Ability to write accurate reports on data collection and analysis
Critical Skills required but not limited to:
- Strong knowledge of sustainability and social value topics & risks (including safety codes, standards, and procedures)
- Strong knowledge of standards to assess sustainability in mining business
**Requirements**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of ten years of experience
- Analytical thinker
- Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive
- Communication skills to work with company personnel at all levels of the organization
- Synthesis skills for decision support
- Confidence in verbally delivering and presenting informationto relevant stakeholders, including the ability to translate complex data into terms readily understood across varying levels (e.g. team, senior managers, and/or partners)
- Ability to work inside cross-functional teams (engineering / purchasing / finance )
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- International experience
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years' experience in developing and implementing ESG strategies (in-house or consulting)
