Job TitleEnvironmental Specialist New StoresPosition PurposePrimary Accountabilities- Identify in environmental permits from new stores (Environmental Impact, discharge water authorization, etc.) conditioning factors and make a research to identify timing of compliance and gathering evidence of compliance in one timing conditioning factors as trees, parking lots, reforestation etc.- Create a matrix of environmental compliance per stores and follow up with environmental providers include all applicable conditioning factors in legal permits in new stores and identify from operating stores the need to compliance with environmental regulations and permits (municipal, state and federal) and include this in environmental Matrix as State COA, Federal COA, General Waste Authorization, Hazardous Waste Auhorization, discharged waters studies and evaluate compliance, etc.- Deliver to environmental authorities applicable annual reports (municipal COA, State COA, Federal COA, discharge water results, Environmental Registry Number NRA, etc.) if it is necessary with providers or personally visit the environmental municipal, state or federal offices, for any legal compliance or requirement necessary to accomplish government requirements.- Implementation in New and Operating stores environmental controls in waste management. General waste, recyclable waste and hazardous waste. Creation of waste log to identify annual quantities and reports and work with Enery Management to request KPI of water and energy cunsumption to report in state regulation.- Identification of applicable regulations in air emissions in new and operating stores, measurements and reports.- Identification of applicable legal payments required, schedule studies, and rights payments, to estimate an annual environmental budget.Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Environmental /Chemical or Industrial EngineeringYears of Experience: Three to five years.Type of Experience: Environmental studies and environmental permitting knowledge.
