This role involves developing and managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, leading a team of maintenance professionals, and driving initiatives to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.What You'll DoMaintenance Management and Planning:Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, robotics, conveyors, and other critical machinery.Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal impact on production operations.Team Leadership and Development:Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, shift leads, planners, and support staff.Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Process and Equipment Optimization:Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for improvement.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reduce maintenance costs, and extend equipment lifespan.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to modify equipment and processes to improve reliability and efficiency.Compliance and Safety:Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of equipment and maintenance practices, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures.Budget and Resource Management:Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including labor, parts, and external service contracts
