Equipment Application

**Objective of the position**

Coordinate of the construction, maintenance and repair of very complex operating material / prototypes

**Principal activities**
- Implement industrial safety requirements.
- Plan and optimize production processes.
- Check quality/schedule/expense in assigned area of responsibility; introduce appropriate actions as required; consult with supervisor as required.
- Technically lead/coordinate associates as necessary, including coordination of available capacities and progress and results control; cooperate in resource planning
- Provide advice in selecting individual components for manufacturing equipment/prototypes (e.g. electrical or pneumatic components, etc.), taking into account company standards and user-specific requirements; provide advice in designing single components
- Plan and conduct training courses; train production associates.
- Analyze defects and interruptions on equipment/prototypes with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical components, using diagnostic systems as required
- Analyze and eliminate weak areas and cooperate in developing suggestions for eliminating problem areas
- Develop actions for maintenance and repair, as well as for adapting maintenance standards
- Plan and launch equipment/prototypes and adjust machine controls; e.g. electrical planning, SPS programming, control cabinet and PLC programming of very complex equipment including conduct test runs
- Coordinate the manufacture of difficult to manufacture equipment/prototypes with high precision according to stated work documents including necessary setup activities
