Purpose Statement: Ensure the company's Backend equipment (wave soldering machine, selective soldering machine, router, Conformal, Potting and small equipment) works properly to meet the production schedule defined.Key Job Accountabilities:- Analyze flaws to reduce downtime for maintenance shortcomings in production lines.- Assist in implementing improvements in production lines.- Meet the preventive maintenance program.- Perform corrective maintenance activities.- Coordinate, supervise and manage staff under responsibility.Additional Accountabilities:- Perform tours to production lines to verify proper operation of equipment.- Verify parts stock and request purchase authorization for missing parts to immediate superior.- Request quotes of parts and tools to authorized suppliers.- Prepare daily report of lines and staff's productivity, and send it to immediate superior.- Coordinate equipment maintenance activities during the weekend.- Follow up on the implementation of the preventive maintenance program.- Participate in work meetings called by immediate superior.- Follow up on corrective actions (CAR).- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business.- Additional duties as assigned.Education/Experience Qualifications:- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an Industrial Engineer,Mechanical Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer degree is preferred.- Two (2) years of related experience is required; Three (3) or more yearsof related experience is preferred.- Knowledge in SMT and BACKEND equipment, electronics, pneumatic and use of measuring tools.- English 80%.An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.Other Qualifications:- Planning- Organization- Leadership- Work under pressure- Problem solving- Intermediate office management- SIPLACE PRO- General office equipment and materialsWork Environment:- The work setting should consist of an office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a low noise level.- This document does not represent a contract of employment and is not intended to capture every possible assignment the incumbent could be asked to perform._
