Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a ES&E Operations Strategy Manager.
**What you'll do**:
Responsible for providing lean transformation leadership for FED ES&E Plants with primary focus on Tijuana. The ES&E Operations Strategy Manager provides expert lean deployment to drive operational excellence in our High five metrics and ensures standardization of our daily lean management process to sustain our gains, consolidates and drives in conjunctions with project owners BU top mfg. productivity projects in addition to collect, consolidate and sustain key operational information for strategic decisions.
A. Promote, influence and drive Safety behaviors in all the projects and interactions involved within the different entities and Plants.
B. Leverage EBS tools for identifying the main areas of opportunities of the mfg. sites related to operational performance for pursuing cycles of improvements. Standardize best practices and proven processes for driving operational productivity, cost efficiency and lean accountability management across FED ES&E Plants.
C. Establish and owns a process for consolidating, tracking, driving execution and supporting project teams for removing roadblocks for the top manufacturing productivity projects for ES&E. Accountable to drive key projects through completion and targets achievement.
D. A hands-on leader and resource for operational special assignments appointed by ES&E Operations Director for supporting turn around scenarios within ES&E Operations related to operational efficiency, productivity or customer satisfaction.
E. In conjunction with Operations Director, and BU General Manager support and keep up to date strategic information related to sites assets status for technology aging, core/none core competencies.
F. Consolidate, keep track and supports execution of ES&E Operational KPI's. Close communication with Operations Director and BU General Manager for pointing deteriorating trends with deep analysis of first, second and third level paretos of the causes.
**Qualifications**:
Education level required Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management or a related business field.
Years and area of experience required A minimum of 10 years experience as a Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement leader, Operations Manager. Strong background participating in turn around situations and able to work under pressure with short turnaround expectations

- Demonstrated experience in Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing methodology, techniques, and roadmaps.
- Understanding of PROLaunch or other phase gate project management tools.- Soft skills- Strong communications skills
