What You'll DoImplement HSE Policies: Implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure employee and departmental safety.Create Incident Reports: Prepare detailed incident reports following any accidents or violations, analyzing what occurred and suggesting preventive measures.Perform Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure conformity with health, safety, and environmental standards.Interact with Stakeholders: Communicate with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes, and regulations.Organize Audits: Determine the need for audits and organize them for company-operated properties to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and auditing standards relevant to the industry.Develop HSE Systems: Assist in the development and implementation of systems and standards that facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.Solve Complex Problems: Utilize detailed knowledge of the field and industry best practices to solve complex problems and develop improved processes.Guide Team Members: Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members in understanding and implementing HSE procedures.Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and update health, safety, and environmental procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring all practices meet current regulatory standards and company goals.Qualifications:Completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, including direct experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and conducting audits.Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and the ability to interpret and apply these regulations effectively.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and statistics related to workplace safety and environmental compliance.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports, presenting safety training, and interacting with regulatory bodies.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.Physical Requirements: Depending on the sector, there may be physical demands such as walking extensive distances on inspection rounds.At least one nationally recognized certification. Such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CEP, PEClearance:Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
