.This is a diverse role reflecting Project Management, Packaging Quality and Supply Chain. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills to provide support to the Packaging Quality Manager. The individual will work in a cross-functional environment with internal Driscoll's teams, packaging integrators and suppliers (e.G., thermoforming, label, and fiber board). The general responsibilities include resolving Mexico-originated packaging quality issues, data management support, shipping test support and corrective action/corrective prevention tracking.**Responsibilities**:- Support and coordinate resolution of packaging defects with packaging suppliers and Driscoll's stakeholders- Become a centralized point of contact for the Distribution Centers and the Packaging Integrators in Mexico for Packaging Quality issues- Update and communicate technical specifications sheets after new packaging standards have been developed- Establish relationships with our Growers- Support technical projects for New Packaging Introductions (NPI)- Analyze and construct KPIs for test data- Perform production audits in Driscoll's supplier facilities for corrugated and PET packaging items- Provide reports to the stakeholders involved when defects detected- Support artwork reviews for labels and trays- Ensure the security of all Driscoll's proprietary and confidential information and material- Follow Driscoll's policies and practices while representing Driscoll's in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with employees, growers, customers, etc.- Position demands a flexible work schedule; may include Overtime, Weekends, On Call /After-Hours Shifts, and Holidays- Perform other duties as required- This job requires approximately 30% of annual work travel, including 10% international travels to the United States- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering- 3-5 years of experience with an understanding of:- Specification management- Expectation setting- Manufacturing- General understanding of quality methods and processes- Prior experience in packaging- Analytical skills with attention to detail- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required- Must be a self-starter, think beyond the immediate task and be driven to complete tasks on time- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment showing initiative as an independent worker and team collaborator- Ability to influence others to ensure tasks meet goals and objectives- Tableau is a plus- Fluency in English and Spanish are required**About Driscolls**:Driscoll's is the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
