Has sign-off authority. Conducts trouble-shooting of laboratory equipment. May be graduate entry level, or equivalent experience.Typical Accountabilities- Responds effectively to technical requests from the Quality Control function using expert knowledge of Quality Control instrumentation and methodology to troubleshoot, root cause and solve problems in order to minimise down-time- Proactively provide support, coaching and expertise to Laboratory Technicians with respect to analytical techniques and instrumentation- Undertakes a variety of non-routine testing including cleaning validation, complaint / counterfeit analysis, experimental / validation work and analytical support to production- Undertakes analytical technology transfer activities, including the analysis of production and stability samples as required- Liaises with engineers and service providers in order to maximise knowledge and availability of equipment and provide input into Contractor Review meetings- Participates in local LEAN processes and consistently seek opportunities for continuous improvement- Delivers analytical training to the Quality Control function- Provides support to regulatory inspections with direct involvement as appropriate- Reviews Pharmacopoeial Monographs and ensures compliance within the Quality Control function**Requirements**:Degree in QFB2 years experience in pharmaceutical industryAdvanced English**_ Why AstraZeneca?_**- At _AstraZeneca we're dedicated to being a Great Place to Work.
