Position Purpose Develops all statistical information needed to support Supply Chain operations and improve Supply Chain process performance. Implements and plans new inventory projects and information requirements. Provides all information needed to take the appropriate decisions on the correct stocking levels for Supply Chain Services products. Implements strategies to maintain optimum inventory levels. Acts as a link between cross-functional areas (finance, merchandising, marketing). Develops functional reports for the SCA's that provide accurate information about sales, gross margin, and forecast of inventory for DI, domestic, and in-country products.
Primary Accountabilities Develops statistical models to support ongoing replenishment programs, supply chain services, and various business process reengineering projects. Manages stocking levels in DC's and projections for DI products. Monitors existing replenishment systems and intervenes where necessary. This includes monitoring seasonal inventory programs, DC replenishment system behavior, and forecasts for main categories. Analyzes data to help define problems and identify possible solutions for any unusual issues that arise on an ad hoc basis, including new store needs. Provides data and analysis to cross-functional teams. Assists other departments, particularly merchandising, finance, and store operations with inventory issues. Provides coaching and guidance for other Supply Chain Analysts. Researches and implements best business practices between US DS and Mexico DS teams. Develops and programs Supply Chain KPIs and publishes them at the store level. Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
