We are constantly improving our operations and looking for new ways to meet our customer's needs through continuous improvement.**General Job Description**:To collect and analyze data in order to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to manufacture a product.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Reviewing customer part prints and Requests For Quotations from customers- Reviewing and determine the production process necessary to produce metal parts- Creating costs estimates for part production- Evaluating equipment availability- Making and updating process documentation- Recommending process and quality improvement opportunities- Conduct regular risk assessments.- Oversee the different stages of a company project to ensure that expenses follow the forecast plan.- Present complex and detailed reports to management.- Performs cost analysis of product proposals.- Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.- Obtain quotes from suppliers.- Participates in Profit and Loss (P&L) analysis, responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.- Routing job once the client accepts**Education, Training, and Experience**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field.- Advanced Excel- Proficient in relevant software including MS Office Suite.- Three or more years of cost estimation experience- Three or more years of metal part processing experience- Three or more years of metal manufacturing environment experience- Possess an understanding of metals and the metal part manufacturing process- Possess an understanding of engineering drawings- Possess an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:- Strong problem-solving abilities.- Excellent presentation and communication skills.Ability to commute/relocate:- 45690, El Salto, Jal.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
