**Job Description**:
Preproduction build support and issue resolution, including pre-production Bill Of Materials
Representative in Continuous Process Improvement Team
Initiate, track and respond to Change Requests & Decision Notices
Resolve issues across PIT's and Assembly Plants
Engineering Work Order follow-up
Launch support in the plant, including material shortage and support spills/crisis
Problem Resolution Tracking System/Issue Resolution prioritization and follow up
Specification interface to insure accuracy for pre production and productions
Plant Tryout and Production Trial Run support
Bill Of Material tool maintenance - insure accurate content and approval of changes
Validation plan development property support
Special projects
Assists in regulation and compliance monitoring
Cost reduction and Generate Technical solutions for current, new and major programs
Assists in developing some engineering designs, including subsystems
Assists in implementing engineering changes
Specifies and balances system requirements
Implements test/development programs
Communicates, coordinates and consults with engineering departments and customers
Stays abreast of new technology and competitive products
May travel to plants if needed
Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Additional Job Description**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Execution of the BEV3 Battery Capacity Increase Program
- Input to Equipment / System Design
- Collaboration with the Operations Team on Program Deliverables
- PFMEAs Review / Simulation Review / Control Plans / Launch Deliverables
- Plant Equipment Install / Debug / Launch / Continuous Improvement
- Providing technical direction to and oversight of outside vendors
- Project management for the Battery Assembly Project Execution
- Actively participate in the SCRUM / Agile Process to accomplish daily tasks and meet the project deliverables.
- Follow standardized processes as defined in PoME for program execution.
- Participate in the Launch wall meetings
- Establishes equipment installation board and review weekly/daily with OEM and contractors
- Supports plant floor equipment installation, tracking and countermeasures
- Develop and lead the PPAP review meetings in area of responsibility utilizing the PPAP checklist, capturing exceptions.
- Lead the lessons learned gathering activity and feedback the information to the central process team for BOE/BOP updates
- Closure of all ME open issues for Launch Deliverables He will be responsible for leading 5 execution engineers

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS**
- Demonstrated level of analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills required to build relationships with team members and customers to solve problems and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex projects with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results.
- Demonstrates initiative by reaching beyond work assigned to improve output and/or help others.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- ME assignments with successful individual achievements or strong team-based achievements.

- Experience in troubleshooting equipment Knowledge Team Center, Project

**EDUCATION**:
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Equivalent Experience.
