As an Executive Compensation Specialist at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in achieving this vision.The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.About the JobThis role involves conducting new job analyses and maintaining job inventories, establishing and maintaining pay ranges, ensuring regulatory compliance, consulting with customers and stakeholders, producing and analyzing compensation and benefits reports, and maintaining compensation and benefits data and systems.You will also be responsible for participating on project teams as a representative of the compensation and benefits services and acting as a Mexico subject matter expert to provide counsel, advice, and support.Responsibilities and TasksConduct new job analysis and maintain job inventories by interviewing managers or business partners to identify job descriptions, determining best matches by researching against current job libraries and other third-party survey benchmark jobs, identifying justifications if a new job is needed, determining recommended actions, and proposing to managers.Establish and maintain pay ranges by submitting and collecting data through third-party market surveys, evaluating job matches to market for validity, analyzing data, making recommendations for changes based on comp philosophy and strategy, consulting with executives and business partners to validate ranges, and performing continued evaluation.Ensure regulatory compliance by establishing and maintaining personal understanding of regulations, consulting with internal and external experts to verify understanding and determine application of compliance regulations, identifying liabilities, recommending and implementing solutions, implementing, communicating, and maintaining ongoing compliance processes where applicable.Consult with customers and stakeholders by identifying, clarifying, and researching customer needs and addressing program questions, evaluating and critiquing options to determine a solution to best fit customer needs and align to business objectives (education/consultation/advising), developing and reviewing proposed solutions and cost modeling with necessary internal experts and stakeholders, creating and providing compensation and benefits training to managers and team members regularly, soliciting process feedback from global customers and peers, and implementing improvements.Produce and analyze compensation and benefits reports by determining needs, designing, generating, maintaining, and distributing reports as needed to key stakeholders, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting results to appropriate stakeholders, completing modeling scenarios, developing recommendations, and generating evaluation summaries based on data.Maintain compensation and benefits data and systems by receiving, evaluating, processing, and auditing data change requests and results, updating, troubleshooting, and correcting system errors as needed, performing detailed global system testing, ensuring data integrity in existing systems, escalating issues to appropriate parties, and validating issue resolution.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related field.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.PowerPoint and Word proficiency.Minimum of 5 years' compensation and Mexico benefits experience.Preferred QualificationsCCP or GRP designation.Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
