Exercise Planner Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Support exercise planning for Division through Theater level exercises.- Responsible for the Operations, Activities, and Actions for Exercise operations during Division through Theater level exercises.- Coordinate for all aspects of Exercise Operations, including design, planning, preparation, execution, and analysis for Division through Theater level exercises with all stakeholders.Position Requirements- Must have the ability to manage multi-dimensional projects.- Must possess a BA or BS, or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university.- Graduate of US military staff college.- One year experience in near-term, mid-term, and long-term planning while managing medium to large groups (50-500 persons) of military and civilian ROK/US personnel within the past ten years.- Two years' experience in Joint, bilateral, ROK/US Combined, and US Army doctrine, organization, training, and planning methodologies within the past ten years.- Two years' experience in the preparation of scenarios and exercise control structures for large-scale, highly distributed, Joint, Combined, and bilateral, multi-simulation-driven exercises withing the past ten years.- One year experience in the preparation of ROK and US division through theater level simulation driven exercises within the past ten years.- Two years' experience in the use of computer simulation models to drive exercises within the past ten years.- Must have proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products.- Ability to perform tasks under pressure.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Capable of transporting and lifting 50-pound boxes of documents and equipment.- Able to travel unaccompanied to, and work at, distant off-site training locations in OCONUS and CONUS.- Must be able to obtain and maintain SOFA status in Korea.- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid U.S. Passport.
