.**Responsibilities**:**What you will contribute**:- Create and manage Business critical Oracle and PostgreSQL databases of Production and UAT environments in Microsoft Azure.- Ensure all databases are monitored 24 X 7 and alerts are in place for all critical issues- Analyze performance of databases and able to tune them as necessary- Design database schema to meet new enhancement requirements.- Troubleshoot ,diagnose & resolve complex database issues in Production and UAT- Develop automation technologies to speed up loading data into the end target.- Work with ITSM tools e.G. Service now. Should have knowledge of Incident management/resolution- Prepare SoP / best practices to be shared with the team.- Build best practices/standard and provide guidance to the development team regarding database design and usage.- Prepare Oracle/PostgreSQL roadmap for the future, comfortable in acting as product owner, manage stake holders across the organization.**Skills required**:**Oracle**:- Overall IT experience of 10-15 years. 8+ years of experience in managing Oracle databases on Linux platforms- 5+ years of experience managing and tuning large and complex OLTP and warehouse databases using Oracle 19c.- Experience in tuning, monitoring, and securing Oracle databases- Experience with Oracle Data Guard, ASM, RAC, AWR, and OEM- Experience in setting up HA/DR/Replication in Azure-PaaS/IaaS models.- Demonstrated experience writing complex stored procedures and queries.- Develop ETL strategies for integrating or migrating data from multiple sources- Proven experience with integration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.**General DBA skills**:- Design and develop relational databases.- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose & resolve complex database issues.- Skilled with performance tuning, recovery etc.- Good understanding of the differences between OLTP and OLAP systems and the different physical modeling and design considerations needed for each- Experience in operational and incident management / resolution.- Enhanced documentation skills - Prepare SoP / best practices to be shared with the team.- Develop appropriate corrective actions to resolve production data issues, not limited to performance tuning, recovery etc.- Build best practices/standard and provide guidance to the development team regarding database design and usage.**Good to Have**:- Previous experience in Financial Services management, analysis, and reporting.- Self-motivated individual who enjoys technical challenges and takes pride in delivering high quality work- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment- Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.- Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail on each project.- Manage and prioritize work effectively with mínimal supervision
