**Your Role**
- He or she will be responsible for conceptualising and developing new plastic, casting, tools, and processes with lots of opportunities for prototyping and testing for ADAS technology. So if you've always dreamed of designing the future and think you have what it takes
Playing the role of Technical Mentor for employees with less experience
- Takes active role in peer review and recommends design solutions
- Playing the role of Technical Expert
- Follow PDP proces:
- Customer requirements and start center model
- Initiate and maintain the mechanical DFMEA
- identify Mechanical Special Product Characteristics
- Support creation of mechanical models of product
- Approve the technical documentation
- If applicable, initiate and complete TALC processes
- Define and verify Dimensional Management requirements
- Create mechanical BOM
- Submit models and drawings to purchasing according to Aptiv process
- Take active part in component and product PPAP process
- Providing technical support, training and on-boarding for employees with less experience
- If needed - managing the team during product development process
- Accomplishing tasks in accordance to AS&UX and TCK quality standards and schedules.
- Cooperation with customers and suppliers.
- Active participation in technical innovation and organization program.
- Taking care of good company image.
- Continuous development of professional qualifications.
- Taking care of confidential information and company's property.
- On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and Technical Centers
**Your Background**
**Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your**
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Knowledge of CAD Software (Unigraphics, Catia V5)
- Longstanding experience in product development, tool design and part design
- Knowledge of tools and processes such as: DFMEA, SPC, PPAP, GD&T, Dimensional Management
- Good English knowledge
