Main Purpose of the Job
Responsible for maximizing value of the product and the work of the development team by ensuring the product is brought to life in the individual markets within a region/zone.
Works closely with the IT Product/Platform Manager to ensure that releases are reflective of product strategy (i.e.
Vision and Roadmap) and receiver needs, and acts as a key information conduit for the development team.
As the owner of the region/zone User Stories in the overall product backlog, is accountable for the prioritization and for the overall tactical value delivery in the Product Lifecycle.
Works with Functional leaders within the region/zone (FRM) to shape their strategies with regard to product adoptions.
Contributes to the product roadmap and portfolio optimization in the respective region/zone.
Becomes the expert in how the product and supported business capabilities are delivering value for the receivers / or not and where not bring a pro-active vision to the roadmap.
With a deep understanding of the market's needs, acts as the voice of the market back to the IT Product/Platform Manager as well as an advocate for the product within the market, working to bridge any existing gaps.
Accountabe for adoption of the product and reducing duplication within the markets for the respective region/zone.
Backlog for region/zone priorities: - Influences prioritization of the backlog within the product org - Defines the sprint backlog / targeted release cycle - Engaged in discovery and manages resulting (relevant) backlog - Ensures readiness of User Stories - Drives Backlog grooming for backlog items clarifications - Defines and owns Acceptance criterias - Executes the backlog - Communicates scope / status - Delivers according to the agreed schedule - Supports hyper-care and industrialization needs - through the supporting partner.
Receiver Centricity within the region/zone: - Advocates for the receiver by observing and interacting with users, reviewing feedback, and defining personas to guide deployment/development - Acts as the voice of the market back to the IT Product/Platform manager - Works to bridge any gaps between the product and the market - Ensures market is realizing full benefit of the product - Collaborates regularly with the dedicated (Near Receivers) to answer the point on how well the product is performing in the market
