We are seeking a Quality Systems Lead Specialist to join our team in Merida, Mexico. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management systems to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance across our organization.
- Ensures implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) at the facility level and approves the need for translation when necessary
- Ensures development of local standards if necessary
- Coordinates, trains and trains the organization of the plant facilities so that they have a sufficient level of knowledge of quality standards and tools.
- Manages facility management review activities by collecting input and communicating the results of the management review meeting.
- Ensures compliance of plant facility systems with customer specific requirements, IATF 16949, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and all local regulations
- Coordinates and guarantees the effective implementation and generalization of corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits with the team in the affected area
- Directs the preparation of internal and external audits within production facilities
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering,Quality Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in quality management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Advanced knowledge of quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent project management skills and experience leading quality improvement initiatives
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Quality management certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ certifications are highly preferred
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in relevant industries
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools
