ResponsibilitiesRole Summary:The individual is responsible for supporting IBM MQ/RDQM/ActiveMQ software used for Finastra's Payments Business unit. Primary responsibility is to install, configure, support, and maintain IBM MQ/RDQM software, ActiveMQ. Further, this person will be tasked with improving both internal and external support for our vital operations.Job Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Design, install, and configure IBM MQ/RDQM/Multi-Instance/ActiveMQ server software.Provide technical support and maintenance of installed software.Ensure all required monitoring services are in place for reporting about system HA and performance.Interact with business users and software vendors to troubleshoot installation and implementation issues.Work with system administrators, DBAs, and networking engineers to improve ongoing services delivery.Develop and maintain detailed technical knowledge of the specifications, operation, and diagnostics of products while maintaining familiarity with competing products.Organize, produce, and report on the progress of ongoing testing, trials, and evaluation of new products and services.Analyze existing workflow environments and assist with setting up and configuring new installations to fit into workflow models.Conduct orientation for new users regarding applications of software.Work with team members and management to architect and support high availability platforms and automate failover to disaster recovery locations.Skills Required:The Finastra environment is a fast-paced, 24x7 environment. Participation in an on-call rotation is mandatory.10+ years total IT experience with level 2/level 3 support in a fast-paced technical environment.Experience with IBM MQ/RDQM/Multi-instance/ActiveMQ is a must. Experience with IBM Sterling Connect Direct v6 is preferred.Scripting experience using PowerShell, cmd, Perl, PHP.Familiarity with communication protocols such as FTP, SSH, and SSL.Excellent proficiency with standard Unix/Linux/AIX and Windows interfaces.Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure is a plus.Experience with Apache Web Server/IIS web servers, Tomcat/JBoss/WebSphere/WebLogic app servers is a plus.Knowledge of SSL public/private key certificates, PGP, and regular expressions is a plus.Familiarity with FED operations, Clearing Houses, SWIFT Network, SNL, and HSMs is a plus.Good troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure.Good documentation, organization, and follow-up skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Basic office skills such as word processing and spreadsheets, including Excel counts and graphs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
