Description :Arrow Electronics is seeking a Export Analyst to join our team in MX-JAL-Zapopan, Mexico (Guad Warehouse).
You will monitor group e-mail Inbox and distribute messages and information to appropriate staffers as required, answer questions from, and provide support to internal customers and external clients, and resolve issues within the life cycle of the job from pickup to delivery.
Focusing on all movements of inbound, outbound, and foreign freight movement.
You will communicate information regarding the transportation and recovery of jobs to management as needed.
You should be self-motivated, client focused, and work well in a team environment.What You'll Be Doing:Responsible for quoting freight charges and utilizing preferred freight vendors.
Reviewing freight variables such as class, weight, dimensional weights, and other special considerationsProvide inbound and outbound in-transit tracking for internal and external customersDirect and coordinates the movement of all inbound, outbound, and foreign to foreign freight movementProvide solutions to complex logistics transactionsEnter shipment information into the ERP system as requiredFile claims for damages/loss of material in transit against responsible freight vendor as requiresProvide outbound in transit tracking for internal and external customersApprove orders submitted for Export ComplianceBe responsible for quoting freight charges utilizing preferred freight vendors.
Must have comprehension of shipping modes (TL, LTL, and small parcel)Assist carriers, other Arrow departments and distribution centers in resolving issues regarding loading, unloading, appointments and daily pick executionFollow approved routing guide for carriers and processing centersCommunicate information with the carriers, including scheduling of jobs, obtaining shipping documents, tracking numbers and proof of deliveries, etc.Process minor shipping requests including redirecting freight, changing freight terms, etc.
