.Title: Exports Team LeadJob Purpose: The Exports Team Lead will be responsible for leading the team to ensure the efficient and effective movement of goods and services from one place to another. The Exports Team Lead will oversee day-to-day operations, manage and mentor team members, and work closely with other departments to optimize overall business performance.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that work is evenly distributed among the staff, manages staff scheduling, facilitates training, and ensures systems are utilized correctly.Sets team goals and objectives, ensuring performance feedback is shared with the team in a timely manner.Provides coaching to the team as needed.Day-to-day coordination of all material ordering, material reception, stock management, and warehousing.Proactively communicates with internal MARKEN departments of any material delay, stock distribution, and/or stock deviation to include Project Management, Logistics department, Kit production, and Branch level management.Confirms that the shipment is OK to send to the final destination and obtains Master Airway Bill (MAWB) consignment instructions.Notifies any discrepancies to the respective department, agent or Marken Office and updates Maestro accordingly.Defines the best possible route to dispatch the shipment to its final destination.Conditions shipments as required and updates/monitors required milestones in the Maestro system in a timely manner.Obtains a booking with the airline and consigns the MAWB as instructed.Enters the RL for International Flight.Sends the Pre-Alert through Maestro.Coordinates with Dispatch the drop-off to the Airline as per the respective SOPs.Uses the Marken Export Daily Schedule Report and updates Maestro with all the departures from the local airports.Keeps updated export flow chart.Ensures all exported shipments have an adequate validity time.RequirementsBachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years' experience working in a related field required.Experience with exports recovery and domestic transfers.Experience serving as a liaison with customs brokers to pre-alert exports and follow up on clearance status.Air freight/Freight forwarding experience.Knowledge of IATA regulations, including Transportation of Dangerous Goods.Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Fluent in English (ability to read, write, and speak).Excellent communication skills, great teamwork, and the ability to influence others.Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills essential.Flexibility in working hours is required; schedule may include overnight and weekend availability.Marken is a wholly owned subsidiary of UPS and is a critical part of UPS Healthcare
