Externals Design Engineering Student (Intern)

**Job Description Summary**: Support identified duties related to Externals Hardware Design, customers inquiries and any field investigation related to the fleet for the external components, assemblies, and/or systems in a multi-functional team environment.
- Execute, with guidance the integration required to support customer fleet related to external components, assembly and systems.
- Meet the product/program requirements.
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
- Develop technical capabilities concurrent with the execution of the responsibilities of the position.
- Document technical data that is generated to substantiate the assigned components, assemblies and/or systems and that is consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Provide timely communication on significant issues.
- Support the solution of problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Self-check of work
- Knowledge on CAD, FEA Software Related
- Knowledge on GD&T Basics

Job Qualifications:

- Student from 8th semester and above
- Engineering Background from Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Aeronautics or related to mechanical/thermal engineering fields.
- Capable to write technical documents, create, review and establish technical discussions with supporting Global organizations in English Language.
