Descripción de la empresaDescripción del empleoPosition Fabrication & CNC Manager**Summary**:Reporting to the Meters-Switches Focus Factory Manager is responsible for the growth, development, and execution of Machining Operations and Machine Technology.The manager oversees three shift-operation of CNC machine tools.The incumbent will work closely with maintenance to keep the facility and equipment in top working order. Further, this position manages Machine Technology personnel in CNC programming, work-holding design and fabrication, first article machining and inspection, and equipment maintenance. The Fabrication/CNC Manufacturing Manager has profit and loss responsibilities by controlling costs while meeting shipment goals.**_ Core responsibilities include:_**- Directly manage Operations team: Operators, Machinists, CNC, Maintenance & Manufacturing Engineers- Leading safety and initiatives- Programmers, Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineers, and Production Supervisors- Manage/schedule the machines and overtime/labor allocation.- Quote development- Tool selection- CNC programming- Control and maintenance of fabrication machines: Amada-press breakManage the development and adherence to work instructions (shop floor instructions).- Develop and review designs for die forging and preforms intended to be machined- Resolve conflicts with customer requirements both internal and external.- Provide technical support for equipment selection and installation- Interface with maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to.- Collaborate and interface with peers and engineers to coordinate job improvements, job tryouts, die corrections and process and procedure changes.- Demonstrated knowledge of die forging procedures and practices- Proven track record of operating safe facilities.- Fluent in English; Bi-lingual is a plus**_Education/Experience:_**- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a machining environment (preferably in a forging plant), including demonstrated experience bringing customer print to first article (fixturing, tool selection, NC programming)- A minimum of 5 years management experienceInformación adicionalAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
