Managers who carefully oversee people, processes, and deliverables to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.What you will doThis role, which reports directly to the site leader, will coordinate and participate in the activities of the personnel in charge of maintaining the equipment and facilities of the Sterilization plant in optimal conditions through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.Responsibilities include:Maintain safe operations, focusing on EH&S, Quality and Productivity, adhering to Stryker Sterilization policies and procedures, complying with good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, applicable ISO requirements and the requirements of national and international regulatory entities.Supervises the planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department.Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion.May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.Team management, defining roles and responsibilities, planning for the department's future needs and operations, counselling employees on performance and contributing to employee pay decisions or changes.It will be required to work in hazardous areas and pass the initial and subsequent medical surveillance and require wearing respiratory protection (SCBA).What you needBachelor's Degree in Electromechanics, Electricity, Mechanical Engineering, or similar, or Equivalent experience.+5 years of Facilities experience in a highly FDA regulated industry.Leadership skills and experience.Knowledge of electrical circuits and mechanical skills.Knowledge of ISO 13.485 and 11.135 desirable.Advanced English & Spanish.Experience in SAP desirable.Knowledge of OHSAS Safety Standards.Knowledge of maintenance and calibration systems.Knowledge of lockout and tagout required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
