Managing and optimizing these facilities and equipment is crucial for maintaining high production standards, ensuring safety compliance, meeting demand, and staying competitive in the automotive industry. Upgrading technology, optimizing processes, and incorporating sustainable practices are ongoing challenges and opportunities in this field.- Specifications- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering- 3-6 years of work experience in relevant area or functionRoles & Responsibilities- Current Equipment Health Assessment/Inventory; Includes all associatedSTELLANTIS facilities/operations- Current facilities and equipment demolition/salvage plan, scope of work/bid documents- Station Readiness/Install- 100% of equipment and facilities is installed and fully operational according to the production intent plan (see General Section)100% of the equipment installed meets Safety, Ergonomic and Material Flow Requirements- Non Production Station Readiness/Install (kit cells, sequence cells, CMA Racking, etc)- Data - Daily maintenance for all F&E Issues - PFEP data, Kaizen Journal, Timeline, Checklist, Budget, Install/Demo Plans/Schedules, Lessons Learned, Best Practices- Coordinate and Lead EEM Activities- Final Layouts and Field Check OversightKSA- F&E Inventory all equipment from Parent plant (and all associated facilities/operations) including Dollys, GFRs, Dolly Lifts/Tilts, Risers, Tilt tables, Turntables, etc.- Coordinate and lead a health assessment of all exterior dock positions, ensuring that the docks are capable of accepting the plan of record material flow for the program (racks, dollies)- Determine the age of all docks, docks older than 20 years most likely will need to be replaced- Determine the state of all dock wells and their capability to accept Over the Road "On-Wheels" Dolly Delivery including the pitch/grad of the docks both for the trailers and inside the building, the dock plate's flare- Manages Station Readiness Leads to ensure that all equipment is appropriate for safety/ergo, holds the proper number of containers per material flow via PFEP, functions as intended, is standardized across the program, meets CoC standards.- Leads coordination with the plant and launch teams on buy-off of equipment designs/builds/installation including: WPI Teams, IE, Safety/Ergo, ME - Facilities, ME - Tooling, MLM Rack and Containers all of this prior to Release for build and in a timely manner to meet launch timing set by the program manager and material flow specialist. The same process is duplicated upon completion of build and prior to shipment to plant. Assists plant with SMI 105 buy-off process upon delivery to plant
