**Summary**:The role of Facilities & Maintenance Manager will be located in Apodaca.
This role will be providing oversight across a range of disciplines including Lease Administration, Portfolio Management, Facilities/Property and Transaction Management, Operation leaders, EHS, Finance, Operational Excellence.Recommends and executes site space-plan changes and equipment renewal and replacement.
Lead on high tech machining equipment, welding process, laser cutting machines, press and forming equipment, testing equipment, etc.Oversees and plans annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects.
**Responsibilities**:- Determine, develop and implement short and long term maintenance strategies for the plant in coordination with the plant leadership team to ensure plant metrics are satisfactorily achieved.- Create and maintain a maintenance schedule for all predictive and preventative maintenance activities with the goal of maximizing availability and efficiency.- Provide leadership and direction of plant maintenance during all routine, predictive, preventative, emergency and outage maintenance activities.
Responsible for the planning, scheduling and execution of all maintenance activities.- Create standard work for all TPM processes and ensure they are being followed by layered standard audits.- Develop and sustain MDI for maintenance and facilities processes.- Act as the nucleus between Engineering, Safety and Environmental teams to facilitate implementation of NPD, maintenance, and environmental projects.- Provide leadership on all matters related to capital spend including but not limited to identifying cost savings opportunities.- Coordinate and direct supervision of all subcontractors to ensure safety, cost control and quality assurance.- Responsible on sustainability projects and strategies as energy and water net cero plans.
**Qualifications**:Bachelor's degree with a focus in Engineering.
Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or similar.10+ years' experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing.Previous experience in a team leadership role, mandatory.Knowledge on manufacturing equipment maintenance (Okuma, Amada, Kapp grinding, Salvagnini, etc)Fluent on English language writing and speaking.Finance and cost management (Projects, spending, budget, etc)Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization.Knowledge of operations and maintenance in a manufacturing set up is a must
