**Job Purpose**:
Maintains facilities and assets and/or improves machine performance and uptime while training in various areas of Facilities Engineering to become familiar with the system, policies and procedures and other aspects of Facilities Engineering.
Primary focus is on facilities, services and machine and asset performance and uptime.
**Job Duties**:
This is a position, which works independently or as part of a team, is designed to maintain or improve manufacturing asset uptime and maintain or improve manufacturing facilities.
The position may also create and maintain facility layouts.
Designs or assists with design of new equipment and/or systems installation such as material handling, paint, filtration, machines or other systems.
Conduct investigations to determine present and future space requirements, rearrangement and expansion needs.
Determines utility needs and prepares detailed work order for installation by craft personnel.
Coordinates receipt of equipment and installation schedules.
Provide assistance to craft personnel on maintenance of machines.
Analyzes problems encountered and recommends design changes and rearrangement of support equipment to alleviate problems.
Troubleshoot equipment and systems malfunctions and recommend corrective action.
Work with manufacturing personnel on tooling, process and quality problems.
Acquires parts and documentation needed by craft personnel to debug new equipment or diagnose problems with existing equipment.
Develops and implements an effective predictive and preventive maintenance program.
Evaluates equipment at run-offs and updates technical libraries to maintain machine support data.
Redesigns obsolete and poorly designed hydraulic and lube systems and ensures scheduled maintenance is performed.
Obtaining knowledge of systems integration and other Facility Engineering concepts and processes are ongoing objectives for this position.
Adhere to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, hazardous material and ergonomics in performing assigned duties.

- Terminated Engineering
- Fluent English
- Requires a knowledge of grounds maintenance, construction practices, plant engineering standards and procedures and the crafts to perform the required work.
- Requires thorough knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures and the capabilities of various cleaning agents.
- Dealing with suppliers
- Automation Knowledge Allen Bradley (PLC, Panel View, VDF)
- Equipment Predictive Knowledge (Megger, Vibration Analysis, Thermography)
- Knowledge of electrical power, (Transformers, Protections, MetalClad, Maintenance)
- Compliance with NOM
- Autocad
- Advanced Knowledge of Office (PP, Excel, Word, PBI, PAPP)
- Management of the SAP system
- Knowledge of networks and communication protocols
