Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use. Job Purpose Responsible for managing the master data of the Maintenance Management System (CMMS), in order to achieve data integrity. Among their responsibilities are the following: Responsibilities Create and update master data of equipment (create new entries, deactivate and remove equipment, and update locations). Create and update locations in CMMS. Activate and update maintenance users in CMMS. Create and update work plans (Job Plans) (Preventive and Predictive Maintenance). Communicate CMMS updates through email. Support CMMS updates: improvement, implementation, and testing. Participate, if necessary, in internal and external audits in the department (ISO, TL, 5s, Safety, Sarbox, among others). Update performance indicators taking into account data obtained from CMMS. Education: Experience: Maintenance technician for assembly lines. Interpretation of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams. Interpretation of drawings. GD&T. Handling of multimeter, megger, and thermal camera. Handling of caliper, torque wrench, and micrometer. Creation of daily reports using computerized maintenance management system.
