Facilities Technician

Purpose of Position.
Uses various engineering principles to provide technical support to engineers involved in the construction, maintenance, and repairs of utility systems, buildings, and ground.
Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required.

**Responsibilities**:
General
:
Responsible for the execution of the preventive maintenance program documented in the MAXIMO software.
Hit goals for maintenance metrics such as:
Planned vs Unplanned, downtime, uptime and MTBF (Mean time between failures) of the equipment or installations assigned to him/her.
Perform inspections and report conditions that could affect the operations or employee safety.
This position also works as support for other department projects such as:
Layout set ups, utility services installations and energy savings related assignments.

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
:
Work in compliance with STPS, OSHA, NFPA and internal safety policy and rules (Safety Programs:
LOTO, Working in Heights, Electrical Hazard, Confined Space, etc.).
:
Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing/hydraulic systems, building management system, and building repairs.
:
Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.
:
Monitor and supervise maintenance or projects assigned to contractors.
:
Respond to emergencies.
:
Prepare and submit PM and Inspection reports of conditions in buildings through CMMS MAXIMO and recommend actions to be taken.
:
Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and othersystems.
:
Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required.
:
Attend training sessions and seminars; and:
Other maintenance tasks as requested.

Education
:
Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical Technical Career.

Work Experience

2 years of experience in maintenance for AA:
+ 2 years of experience in maintenance for BB:
+ 5 years of experience in maintenance for CC

Strong demonstrated fundamental understanding of 3 phase electrical systems, machine/motion control systems, electro:
Ability to interface and troubleshoot control based equipment:
Drive Scissor Lift Boom and other elevation vehicles:
