Facility Maintenance Tech III**Job Number:**:MAI0100EY )**Primary Location**: Mexico-Baja California Norte-Mexicali**Description**:**JOB SUMMARY:**Provide an advanced level of expertise to support daily maintenance requirements. Regularly repair and replace mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components. Oversee the maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and critical building systems.**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.- Perform technical repairs and facility support tasks including, but not limited to, electrical components, back-up power systems, HVAC systems, plumbing and domestic water systems, fire protections, security systems and kitchen equipment, maintaining detailed operation logs.- Develop, maintain and operate building automation systems (BAS) including lighting and HVAC and preventive maintenance (PM) programs and work ticket systems.- Maintain accurate record of all proper preventative maintenance and operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other critical facility systems that are tested on a routine basis.- Oversee, inspect, and monitor the routine maintenance provided by junior engineers. Will also provide guidance and training as needed.- Oversee projects as assigned. Projects will include minor space renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and building efficiency improvements.**Qualifications**:**Education**:- High School Diploma or equivalent.- 2 years of technical education or equivalent training programs**Relevant Work Experience**:- 8 years of complex building maintenance and operations experience.**Additional**:- Ability to read and interpret complex building designs and system schematics.- Valid Illinois driver's license.- Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.
