If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, the Failure Analysis Engineer role is responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective troubleshooting methods for systems, software, and equipment, and for proposing and implementing solutions for critical issues to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a healthy inventory of repair or manufacturing processes. Tasked with increasing technical knowledge and developing training plans for technical staff, ensuring flexibility across projects and technologies. Responsible for monitoring and improving technician efficiency and effectiveness indicators to ensure optimal performance.What a typical day looks like:Directs and coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in design of methods of failure analysis, testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, telemeter and record test data.Directs and coordinates the strategies to debug failed products of the test process.Defines conditions and procedures under which technicians are to conduct and indicators and phases of the debug process.Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing and troubleshooting problems such as failures of product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, Failure Analysis Reports, new solutions, obsolete components data interpretation or coding issues.Evaluates and interprets failure data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software
