.FEDE Engineer - Failure Mode Avoidance Tools Development & Support- Lead development, testing, and deployment of Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) enhancements in the Ford Engineering Design Environment (FEDE) systems engineering tool set including:- Quality History integration to DFMEA's- FMA plan in FEDE Workbench- SCCAF managements in FEDE Workbench- Seamlessly work with the IT matched-pair product teams to specify needed tool functionalities, elaborate & prioritize the backlog, and work within the Agile framework for deliveries- Partner with Quality Office & Design Assurance teams to develop digital tool solutions for administration, execution, and measurement of FMA processes- Coordinate efforts between Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing to provide a robust and consistent tool- Develop tool training documentation and other learning materials in support of deployment to Product Development functional teams. Lead training where required.Minimum Qualifications:- BS in Engineering required- 3+ years of experience with SAE J1739 FMA disciplines, processes, and digital tools- Expert-level experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM / Active Workspace- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work within cross functional teams.- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office toolsPreferred Qualifications:- MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable Engineering discipline- Experience with Ford FMA Handbook and all required deliverables aligned with Ford Global Product Development System (GPDS) such as D/PFMEA's, Boundary & P-diagrams, SCCAF, Robustness Checklists, and Change Point Analysis- Working experience with Agile & SAFe methodologies and Rally backlog maintenance- Global working experience with partners in Europe, China, South America, and/or Australia- Strong working knowledge Systems Engineering principles, processes, and artifactsMinimum Qualifications:- BS in Engineering required- 3+ years of experience with SAE J1739 FMA disciplines, processes, and digital tools- Expert-level experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM / Active Workspace- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work within cross functional teams
