The Field Account Manager (FAM) is a sales position, responsible for Customer Relationship and Retention for LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and solutions in an assigned territory or industry-specific vertical. This role will be responsible for identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities of existing Customers, working with the Sales and Professional Services Team to bring deal to closure as well as monitoring accounts for renewals.
Responsibilities Responsible for Customer relationship and retentionProactive selling and retention of products to existing customers in order to achieve and exceed established sales revenue and other performance targetsConducting appropriate consultative selling processes including product demonstrations, presentations and tender responsesRetain and grow key services within existing customer baseActively monitor Customers for renewalEngage with Customers to limit cancellationsProvide Customers training in an ad hoc fashion or coordinate with corporate trainers as neededCreate and provide usage reports to customersFacilitate document translations as neededLiaise with internal teams to resolve customer issuesAssist Customers with Account Payment activities such as completion of Tax Withholding paperwork and basic invoice queriesFor select products only – Perform model calibrations at level 1 to ensure best performance and escalate to Decision Science at level 2 as needed. Support Implementation Projects.Other: Timely production of regular and ad hoc sales reportConsistent use of CRM system in line with business requirementPerform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Required level of education: BS / BA or equivalentAbility to close a saleWork experience in a professional sales environment is desirableStrong organizational, time management and forecasting skillsUnderstanding of professional research process and having the ability to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of LexisNexis Risk Management products and solutions, and how they apply to the customer's needs.Demonstrate outstanding networking capabilities and exhibit a professional demeanor, business maturity, and technical knowledgeAble to work as part of a team, accomplishing mutual team goalsSalesForce knowledge is a plusAt LexisNexis Risk Solutions, having diverse employees with different perspectives is key to creating innovative new products for our global customers.
