These objectives must be achieved while operating within budgets and other performance parameters.Major Responsibilities:- Sales - consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual volume objectives through effective implementation of sales process, channel/account strategies and trade programs.- Distribution/Merchandising - achieve objectives and execute processes and programs that optimize product availability and exposure in the assigned accounts.- Trade and Business Development - exploit business opportunities by addressing trade/account issues, conducting business reviews and tapping into account-initiated programs that promote sales/brand/category exposure.- Information System and Administrative Requirements - utilize available sales data and account information to enhance understanding, analysis and building the business while ensuring that all records, reports and other administrative requirements expected are updated, accomplished properly and submitted on time.
Administrative requirements include the immediate reporting of competitive activities as they occur in the trade.- Sales Activity Management & Control - develop, utilize and maintain a system to monitor and control account programs, distribution and merchandising activities to assigned accounts.- Unsaleable Merchandise (B.O.'s) - ensure management of Trade BO returns within the company's acceptable level through strict, consistent implementation of the BO policy across all accounts, and helping these accounts observe and comply with proper product handling storage practices to minimize BOs.- Asset Management - maintain, protect and fully utilize all company assets assigned.- Trade Relations - cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with key personnel of assigned accounts while observing proper decorum on the job to project and protect the good image of the company
